Case Study: Community Logos - Bohunt Horsham

Bohunt Horsham is a dynamic secondary school committed to fostering a strong sense of community among its students. As part of a new school communities system, they wanted to create four distinct house identities that reflected student creativity while forming a unified visual brand.

The Brief

The school ran a competition inviting students to design logos for each of the four new school communities. The winning entries were full of personality and imagination, but they varied in style, colour, and format.

Bohunt Horsham needed a creative partner who could take these student-led ideas and transform them into a consistent, professional set of house logos that could be used across a variety of materials – from banners to wall art – while still preserving the spirit of the original designs.

Our Approach

We set out to create a bold, matching set of distinct identities guided by ideas from each school community. Inspired by classic heraldry and modern sports branding, we developed and refined early sketches into strong, characterful symbols.

Each emblem was designed to ignite pride, allegiance, and instant recognition – with distinct personalities for each house, yet a visual consistency that unified them as a set.

The Final Result

Once the designs were approved, we brought them to life across a range of printed pieces, including:

• Large atrium banners displayed prominently in reception

• Pull-up banners for flexible display at events

• Pennant banners for a decorative and celebratory touch

  
  

These elements created a striking visual impact that not only celebrates the new communities system but also fosters a greater sense of belonging among students.
