Case Study: Making it easy for our clients – Yamaha Motor UK

Here at Print + Design IT, we have the capacity to manage the logistics of designing, producing and dispatching printed goods whilst also being compliant with GDPR. For example, Yamaha required multiple point of sale items to be produced and dispatched to 70 of their dealerships across the UK, Channel Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and the highlands of Scotland to promote their new motorbike models during a weekend test ride event.

The Brief

  • Design and produce Tension Banners, Posters, Window Stickers, Flyers and a Counter Display for flyers.

  • Produce various amounts of each point of sale item.

  • Dispatch to 70 different branches across the UK and the Channel Islands in time for the event

  • Fulfil a second dispatch of T-Shirts to each dealership.

Our Approach

Following an initial meeting, we agreed on a name for the event and designed a few options for the graphics, which would be used on all point of sale and tactical marketing items. Once the design was approved, we created the artwork for all the items and organised production with our in-house team and reliable trade suppliers.

The Logistics

When all the items were produced, we proceeded to pick and pack the correct amount of each item for each dealer, clearly marking each box with its contents.

A second dispatch was sent a week before the event containing give-away T-shirts and unique competition QR codes for each dealer to stick on their counter display we produced and dispatched in the first dispatch.

The Final Result

All items were received successfully by each of the 70 dealers in time for the event. The client was very happy with all of the finished items as well as how we fulfilled the job with precision and accuracy.
