Case Study: County Windows Rebrand

County Windows approached Print + Design It to help them rebrand their long-established business. This update would help push the company forward with greater customer focus and highlight the aspirational lifestyle enhancements that their home improvements could offer.

The Brief

Having recently changed ownership, County Windows wanted a re-design of their existing logo.

  • They wanted the new logo to be simple, yet sophisticated and reflect professionalism, quality, uniqueness, luxury, innovation and elegance.

  • The new logo was to be used on the company website, business stationery, promotional material, vehicle livery and the shop fronts of the two showrooms that County Windows owned.

  • The target market of the business was homeowners looking to update and improve their properties, who wanted high-quality products and fitting at a competitive price.


The Rebrand Process

We wanted to achieve a simple and elegant symbol that would sit well with a wide range of their product styles, from clean, simple uPVC window frames to more ornate timber products; as well as the other non-window products in their range.

One of the overriding feelings we wanted to achieve was that of improvement, especially to the end customer, who would be using County Windows to enhance their property. The window symbol allowed us a way of looking out, giving the aspirational tone that the existing logo lacked – a way to convey the message of an improved view and lifestyle.

The Final Result

The finished logo encompasses the goals that we and County Windows want to achieve. Both modern and elegant the logo gives a defined brand to the company – from the simple negative space of the frame to the aspiration view through the window, the simple geometry of the typography and the complementary green and blue colour scheme.


The logo sits well on its own as a memorable representation of the business, it also holds up when sitting with colourful product imagery in brochures and on their website.
